My Journey

From Chronic Illness to Healing Others

In 2011, Kylie's health fell apart. What started as unexplained symptoms — chronic fatigue, anxiety, panic attacks, digestive issues, sleep problems — spiraled into years of searching for answers. Doctors offered prescriptions, but nothing addressed the root cause.

Through her journey, Kylie discovered something that changed everything: the connection between her nervous system and every symptom she'd been carrying. Through sound healing, breathwork, and mindful movement, her body finally began to let go of what it had been holding for years.

That journey of personal healing became a calling. Kylie trained as a Certified Sound Bath Facilitator and earned her Mindfulness Certification, dedicating herself to helping others find the same relief and transformation she experienced.

Now, through Echoes of Healing and InTUNE With YOU Coaching, Kylie is launching her mission to guide individuals and groups through sound baths, coaching programs, and workshops — all rooted in the science of the nervous system and the power of intentional self-care.

The Science Behind the Healing

When Your Body Is Stuck in Survival Mode

Your autonomic nervous system controls everything you don't consciously think about — heart rate, digestion, breathing, sleep. When it's stuck in fight-or-flight, your body is constantly running from danger that isn't there.

Anxiety & Panic

Racing thoughts, constant worry, sudden panic attacks

Sleep Problems

Insomnia, waking at 3am, never feeling rested

Digestive Issues (IBS)

Bloating, cramping, gut-brain connection disrupted

Chronic Fatigue

Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix

Emotional Overwhelm

Mood swings, irritability, feeling on edge

Brain Fog

Difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, mental haze

"The Body Keeps the Score" — Bessel van der Kolk

Trauma and chronic stress live in the body, not just the mind. Sound frequencies, movement, and breathwork speak directly to the nervous system — bypassing the thinking brain and going straight to where the healing needs to happen.

The Science of Movement

Hope Molecules

When you move your body, your muscles release myokines — tiny mood-boosting proteins that scientists have nicknamed "Hope Molecules."

This is why exercise makes you feel better. And the best part? It only takes 15 minutes per day of walking and/or light somatic stretching.

  • Boosts mood + reduces anxiety
  • Sparks new brain cell growth (hello, clarity!)
  • Lowers inflammation + stress
  • Improves resilience + emotional balance
  • Leaves you feeling energized and uplifted

Move your body → release hope from the inside out.

The Magic

Conscious & Subconscious Mind

Your conscious mind — the thinking, deciding, choosing part — makes up only about 5% of your mental activity. The other 95% is your subconscious: the beliefs, patterns, and programs that run your life on autopilot.

The good news? Your conscious mind can reprogram your subconscious with repetition, affirmations, intention, and sound.

This is exactly what Kylie's work does. Sound frequencies bypass the analytical mind and speak directly to the subconscious. Affirmations and prayer rewire your thoughts, quiet negative self-talk, and build confidence. Movement releases what the body has been storing.

It's science + soul. And it works.

Breathe to Feel Better

Breathwork is a simple reset button for your mind and body.
Slow breath in, long breath out. Your whole system shifts.

Key Terms

Understanding the Language of Healing

Sympathetic Nervous System

Your body's "alarm system" — activates fight-or-flight response. Heart races, muscles tense, digestion stops. Meant for short bursts, not daily life.

Parasympathetic Nervous System

Your body's "rest and repair" mode — where healing, digestion, and deep sleep happen. Sound healing activates this system.

Amygdala

The brain's fear center. Processes threats and triggers the stress response. Sound frequencies help calm it, reducing anxiety and reactivity.

Vagus Nerve

The longest nerve in your body, connecting brain to gut. Stimulated by sound vibrations and deep breathing. The key to nervous system regulation.

Somatic

Relating to the body. Somatic practices work with the body to release stored trauma and tension that talk therapy alone cannot reach.

Mindfulness

Present-moment awareness without judgment. The foundation of all healing work — being with what is, rather than running from it.

Background

Training & Credentials

Certified Sound Bath Facilitator

Formally trained in crystal singing bowl therapy and group sound bath facilitation.

Mindfulness Certification

Certified in mindfulness practices, integrating present-moment awareness into every session.

Nervous System Science

Deep study of how sound frequencies interact with the autonomic nervous system, vagus nerve stimulation, and trauma release.

Lived Experience

Kylie's deepest credential is her own healing journey — from chronic illness to guiding others through transformation.
